Nick Aliff

Nick is the Finance Digital Transformation Leader at State Auto Insurance where he is responsible for leading the finance innovation strategy. Prior to joining State Auto, he was a Director in Controllership at Nationwide Insurance where he was responsible for the digital strategy and continuous improvement program within the Finance Shared Services group. Throughout his career, Nick has held various roles in finance with a background in accounting, reporting, auditing, financial analysis, and finance operations. He graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a degree in Accounting and is an active CPA (since 2010).
Nick enlisted and served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 2003-2009 with the 1-145h Armored Regiment in Stow, Ohio. He completed deployments to Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operational Iraqi Freedom and Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt in support of the Multinational Force Observers peacekeeping mission.
