Jason Kotzur
Mentorship Committee Chair
Jason is the Assistant Controller with Crane Group Company. Jason received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso and his Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from The Ohio State University. Jason was enlisted in the United States Army for eight years as an infantryman and was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Jason received a Purple Heart Award in 2009 after sustaining injuries from combat. He was medically retired in 2014.
Jason is active in his community and holds a strong belief in supporting small, local businesses. He is very active in his children’s extracurricular activities including his daughter’s Girl Scout’s Troop. Jason loves to participate in distance running and has completed several races, including the American Cancer Society – Columbus to Cincinnati Relay Run and the Columbus Half Marathon in 2021. Jason believes in the importance of family and actively makes efforts to stay connected with his immediate and extended family. He currently resides in Powell with his wife and their two young children.
