Jon Rust
Co-Founder
Jon supports the Chief Transformation Office at USAA as an Enterprise Portfolio Leader, joining in 2022. Prior to USAA, Jon worked in multiple areas of Nationwide Mutual Insurance, supporting the Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance business units in various portfolio, project, and process leadership roles. He previously worked in Strategy & Operations consulting at both Deloitte Consulting and Centric Consulting. Jon is an Emeritus Board Member of The Ohio State Army R.O.T.C Alumni Society, and is active in other military hiring initiatives throughout Columbus, such as the Central Ohio Veterans Consortium.
Jon also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel and Strategic Intelligence Officer in the Army Reserve, assigned as a Detachment Commander within the Military Intelligence Readiness Command. Jon graduated from THE Ohio State University and was commissioned as a Military Intelligence officer with a branch detail to Field Artillery, through The Ohio State University Army R.O.T.C. program. Jon served on active duty in the US Army from 2004 to 2009, with assignments in the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade and 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), including 2 deployments to Iraq in 2005 and 2007. Jon rejoined the US Army Reserve in 2012, and has served in several leadership and staff assignments at the company and field grade level.
